«Sirin’s Song»

Two schoolchildren, chasing the mysterious bird Sirin, end up in the abode of the
Slavic gods, where incredible adventures befall them — they have to help Veles
himself, the ruler of Navi. The boys travel through the magical worlds of Navi,
Prav and Yav, and at the same time, the boys meet new friends and dangerous
enemies. The Upper Kingdom is ruled by the mighty Perun the Thunderer and his
wise, beautiful wife Makosh — the goddess of fate, family and women's crafts.
The film also tells about the three main fantastic birds of Slavic mythology —
Sirin, Gamayun, Alkonost, these prophetic birds keep many secrets. The amazing,
magical world is also home to strange creatures called gartsuks, who know bad
weather. Viewers will also see Tsmok: the intricate name comes from the
Belarusian verb "smaktats'" — "to suck out, to drain." The Belarusian dragon is a
good-natured and fair creature, unlike its Western European counterpart.

The friends also meet the fearless girl Kasya from the Upper Kingdom and the
loyal wolf cub Yuhu. In the dark swamps of Navi, the travelers are met by the
insidious and ruthless Palyandra, who seeks to destroy the Great Balance. And then
all the worlds will face a catastrophe... Will modern teenagers be able to reconcile
the gods?
