Director Biography - Andrew Hoo

Andrew Hoo has been a filmmaker for over 10 years. From Miami, FL, but of Jamaican descent, Andrew has used his culture to push him through this industry and hone in on his craft. He has a passion for using film as visual art to capture nuanced stories, especially those pertaining to black people. His dream is to push storytelling forward by showing other black filmmakers how to use what they have until they can gain more.
