Director Biography - Miguel Raymond

Miguel Raymond is an acclaimed video artist, director, and multimedia artist, with a solid
foundation in communication from the University of Quebec.
Miguel quickly made his mark as a leading creative force in the world of video art, contributing
to a variety of artistic fields. His innovative work has earned him numerous awards, both in
Canada and internationally, as well as being featured in many museum exhibitions in Canada
alongside great artist such as Nam June Paik and Bill Viola.
Throughout his career, Miguel has remained committed to pushing artistic boundaries, engaging
in projects that span from video art, installations, and live performances, establishing him as a
key figure in Canada's digital art evolution.
As an independent artist and director, Miguel continues to explore new frontiers in video art. His
art films, Prelude à la Lune and Secret Garden, received international acclaim. His art film Cycle
of Life, a quadriptych film that delves into the seasons of life and nature also performed
exceptionally well on the global stage, and will be projected at Osaka International World Fair
2025 on the Shining Hat Pavillion, solidifying his reputation as a trailblazer in his field.
