Simulacrum
A cinematic dysfunction based on found footage and manipulated lost films that come together to rethink modern society. The perversity of control, power, consumption, compared to images designed to enhance the sensory side, are some of the topics covered. SIMULACRUM evokes chaotic scenarios transposing us to the origin of cinema in a disturbing way.

Born on April 16, 1998 in Paredes, district of Porto, studied arts at the Soares dos Reis Artistic School where he discovered a passion for cinema. He developed his fascination with experimental cinema when he graduated from the School of Arts, but it is the search and curiosity for experimentation, the counter-culture that defines him personally and professionally.
