Simpering

It is something that can be enjoyed from anywhere in the world. It is a feeling that you are independent. Everyone's smile might not reflect in a mirror but in the mind's mirror, every smile shines. "Simpering" is a short film that gives us the message that every smile counts. Let's hope for something better with our struggle to save one smile's right.

Director Biography - Murshidul Alam Bhuiyan

Murshidul Alam Bhuiyan is the founder of Team Bertho, a world-recognised youth organisation where he bonds the whole world beyond borders through individually crafted human life stories. Under his leadership, Team Bertho has impacted 650,000 people across 81 countries. Murshidul has received numerous distinctions for his work, including The Diana Award, Asia's Top 10 Young Talents, Top 50 Coolest South Asians of 2022, Global Youth Awards for Educational Innovation, The Points of Light Inspiration Honor Roll, 50 Leading Lights Asia Pacific, Kindness in Education Award, Fellowship at The Queen's Commonwealth Trust, & UNICEF Meena Media Award. He's also the author of the book "Fueling Hope," a compilation of anecdotes collected from various individuals that portray the admiration for the world & its people. Through various ventures such as Project Amra and Chaa with Taa, Murshidul empowers orphaned children & celebrates global music's rich cultural heritage. His leadership extends to roles with Million Peacemakers & AwareNow Media, where he promotes social causes & nonflict resolution. Murshidul's imaginative mind hopes to create an empathic community and plans to grow his network in the future to establish a global platform where people can interact through common experiences.
