Verse 1:
Dropping bombs on people in the name of keeping peace
I don’t know who to trust, or what I should believe
If you see no evil, hear no evil, Sitting on your hands
You best believe you’re just as guilty in the end
How can you say you care about the children of the world
When they’re staring down’ the barrel of your gun
If you don’t want a conversation because arrogance is bliss
There aint no doubt you’re just as guilty in the end
Chorus
I know they’re aint no silver bullet, (aint) no easy way
I’ve seen this world enough to know
There aint no change till we put ourselves aside
You can’t do nothing from the sidelines
So wont you bridge the great divide
Verse 2:
We were looking for a way to show the world just who we are
The great big world just at our fingertips
These days it seems like everyone is just a click away
But we wear our perfect smile just like an iron gate
We took one bite of that apple, baby there’s no going back
It’s funny how convenience blurs the truth
That we’re more than just a profile or a number to be used
I wonder how much of ourselves we’re willing to loose
Chorus
I know they’re aint no silver bullet, (aint) no easy way
I’ve seen this world enough to know
There aint no change till we put ourselves aside
You can’t do nothing from the sidelines
So wont you bridge the great divide
Bridge:
Bridge the great divide
Bridge the great divide
Bridge the great divide
(it might take a thousand miles)
Chorus
I know they’re aint no silver bullet, (aint) no easy way
I’ve seen this world enough to know
There aint no change till we put ourselves aside
You can’t do nothing from the sidelines
So wont you bridge the great divide

I’m a Swiss / Minnesotan Singer-Songwriter based out of Los Angeles. My writing is comes from a Country, Americana background with some pop mixed into it.
I grew up in a musical family where singing was an important pillar. However it wasn't until the age of seven that I discovered my love for singing and performing when I sang my first solo in my class choir that I realised how much I loved performing. At 16 I joined the professional classical choir at the academic high school Unterstrass in Zurich where I also studied classical, legit and opera for four years. It was here, that I learned the importance of connecting the Voice and Body. In 2013 I graduated a with her Music degree in Zurich, Switzerland.
This meant a new beginning for me, as I packed up my bags and crossed the ocean to Los Angeles, where I created my own home base. I held my studies in Vocal Performance at the LA College of Music (LACM) in Pasadena and graduated in March 2015 with Honours from LACM.
After a highly successful international Kickstarter, I released my first solo record “Beautiful Angel” in the Summer of 2017. The album is filled with my own songs telling stories of a young life filled and the love, loss and life lessons that come with it.I’m currently recording my second record, to be released in 2019.
This song was written with the strong divide of the country in mind. We believe that music can bridge to that divide. So we wrote a song to communicate our frustration but also the nuance that this whole situation has.
