1: We take pride in showcasing films created since 2021, ensuring that our festival embraces the freshest and most contemporary cinematic works.

2: For short films, we encourage creativity within a concise format, with a maximum duration of 40 minutes. Additionally, we define micro-short films as captivating stories told in less than 5 minutes.

3: When you submit your film to the festival, you commit to possessing all necessary rights for your film and agree to present it in our festival environment if asked. Your creation will be appreciated and respected by our audience and fellow filmmakers.

4: Please note that the registration fee for the festival is non-refundable, as it contributes to the operational costs of this celebration of cinema.

5: The Silicon Hills Film Festival operates with complete independence and freedom in selecting films for its program. If your movie earns a spot in our lineup, our festival office will reach out to you via phone or email. For entries that do not make the selection, we regretfully do not provide detailed feedback or screening notes.

6: Our festival is a labor of love, organized voluntarily by a dedicated group of film enthusiasts. Our mission is to serve filmmakers, and we strive to respond to your inquiries within a maximum of three days.

7: We have an open-minded approach to film genres, welcoming entries from all cinematic realms. Whether your creation is a drama, comedy, documentary, or experimental masterpiece, we invite you to share it with us.

8: Filmmakers with multiple entries are more than welcome to submit their works. Each entry should be accompanied by a separate submission and entry fee, ensuring that each film gets the attention it deserves.
