Silent Night

Set in South Korea, a washed-up Korean gangster father, Panho, discovers his American educated daughter, Yumi, with a handsome white American, Eric. When Yumi heads out with Eric, Panho sets out on a tailing mission in attempt to sabotage what he assumes to be a romantic date. However, Panho has an unlikely sidekick, a man kidnapped in his car trunk, who he has yet to " take care of ."

Director Biography - Bumsue Chun

Bumsue Chun is a filmmaker seeking for novel ways to tell stories using not only the traditional format but also new technologies such as VR.

He grew up in Daejeon, South Korea, and spent his youth in the heart of Sonoran desert, Tucson, Arizona. He later moved to Singapore to attend the grad film program at NYU Tisch Asia.

As a writer/director Bumsue has made short films in Arizona, Korea, and Singapore. And, as a cinematographer, he has photographed short films in various locations such as Arizona, Singapore, Nepal, and Japan.
