Director/Writer/Producer Kalia Love Jones is a 16-year-old ambitious filmmaker. The Los Angeles, CA native began her film journey at just 13 with the award winning animated short film “The Power of Hope”. At 14 Kalia became the youngest filmmaker ever nominated for an NAACP Image Award, youngest winner of the Pan African Film Festival and praised by forever First Lady Michelle Obama on the Today Show. Kalia has appeared in Ebony Magazine, guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Today Show, FOX, NBC, CBS and ABC networks nationwide... Kalia recently inked a deal for an animated series with A Surfing Giant Studios.
