Justin Malone lives and works in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a cinematographer and director of music videos and short films.
His first short film "Hypothetically" was shown at Focus Fest 2017 in Memphis. He directed the official music video for "Regret," a song by Memphis based rapper Jolt, which played at the 2017 Indie Memphis Film Festival.
In 2018, he wrote and directed "Smoke" which was an official selection of the Indie Memphis Film Festival, the Lanett Film Festival, and the F-Stop Film Festival.
His short film "Coworkers" was also selected to the 2018 Indie Memphis Film Festival. His fourth short film "Management" was shot and released online in 2018.
His fifth short "Signing Day" is currently on the festival circuit and has so far been selected to play at the Festival South Film Expo, the Franklin International Indie Film Festival, and the Lanett Film Festival.
"Yard Work," a short Southern Gothic Comedy, is entering the festival cycle now.
He is a graduate student in the film and video program at The University of Memphis.
