Allie is a writer, director, and producer with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling that challenges, inspires, and connects. With over 30 produced films under her belt, Allie brings a wealth of experience and an eye for both detail and humanity to every project.
After producing a diverse slate of short films, features, and experimental works, Allie stepped behind the camera as a writer-director, bringing her unique vision to life. This latest film marks her third written and directed project — a continuation of their commitment to bold, character-driven narratives.
Allie's work has been recognized for its emotional authenticity, cinematic style, and collaborative spirit — always striving to create space for underrepresented voices and perspectives in film.
While working as Program Coordinator for Sacred Heart University's film school, I had the amazing opportunity to act as a Teacher's Assistant for Roger S.H. Schulman ('Shrek', 'Balto', 'Alf'). The 'Psychotherapy' script was originally written by one of his students in that class. In an effort to continue collaboration between faculty, students, and Alumni, I approached the writer to see if he'd be interested in a collaboration. This short film is a collaborative work of love between many generations of filmmakers, and a tradition I plan to continue.
