Director Biography - Phuc Quang Vu Dao

Director Dao Phuc Quang Vu is a Vietnamese, he was born and raised in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province. He is a professional photographer for 10 years before making his first film in 2020 with the title Memory Land. He pursues independent filmmaking by coming up with ideas and writing scripts for each film. With his long experience in photography, director Dao Phuc Quang Vu’s films have a distinctive cinematic language with many beautiful and romantic shots.

The film was shot in the slum area of Pleiku city with its own beauty of the street. The film was produced with natural light and no special effects, bringing the uniqueness of the cinematic language.
