24 hrs Live Filmmaking Competition on May 14, 2022

Only registrations for the live filmmaking competitions are accepted now,
no pre-shooting is allowed, no completed films are accepted!

One minute films to be made in 24 hours in a live filmmaking competition on May 14, 2022.

This film marathon is sort of an athletic challenge. A race against time, as the participants will only have one day, 24 hours, to make their 1 minute long films.

Our goal is to bring awareness to the changes we all have to do on a daily basis in our consuming habits to preserve the Earth.
The competition aims to do that with the power of filmmaking.

Rules & Terms

SHOOTING
The timing of the shooting:
This year it starts at 10 AM local time, 14th of May, 2022 (Saturday), finished at 10 AM local time, 15th of May, 2022 (Sunday)
During this time span of 24 hours, the participants have to shoot and edit a creative short film with a maximum length of 60 seconds.
The films can be made with a digital video camera, mobile phone, tablet or digital camera.
Shooting has to be done during the official time span of the competition. Pre-shooting is not allowed.
The music of the uploaded films are required to be properly licensed and the images must to be original, legitimate recordings by the crew after 10 AM local time, 14th of May, 2022.

Steps for submitting through FilmFreeway:
1. Create a dedicated project page for this contest by clicking My Projects > Add a Project.
2. Title the project '24 Hour Film Competition'
3. Submit the project to the '24-Hour Competition Registration' category
4. On May 14th at 10am, visit https://shoot4earth.org to view the competition criteria
5. You will have 24 hours to create the film and upload it to your project page
