Shneidman Blues
A man, despondent over the course his life has taken, journeys up a mountain. Arriving at cliff’s edge, he ponders taking his life. However, before he can throw himself off, an eclectic collection of people show up and interfere with his end-of-life plans.
A comedy served with a heavy dose of cynicism that features a rap music sequence with dancing on a mountain top, “Shneidman Blues” is an unpredictable short movie.
19 cast members liven up the lush scenery with footage from around the world - US, France, Germany, Australia, UK and, of course, Japan - to give you an unforgettable movie viewing experience.

Losing people we care about is one of life’s most difficult challenges. When shooting “Shneidman Blues,” I constantly thought of friends who took their lives and how, if they’d been surrounded by humorous people like those in my film, they’d perhaps be with us today.
Our world and its people are not as bad as we sometimes think. I’d like to share a message of hope with those trapped by disease and war who feel they have no way out.
