Experiencing Interruptions?

Shifting Perspectives

Shifting Perspectives is a short dance film inspired by a recently published conversation between two leaders in the field of synthetic biology (Sarah Richardson and Tom Knight) and their divergent approaches to working with microbial life: growbyginkgo.com/2020/06/23/moving-the-needle/

Shifting Perspectives seeks to open a multivocal interdisciplinary dialogue across screendance, movement and synthetic biology. The film was developed by Sarah Pini in collaboration with Jestin George and Melissa Ramos during their Responsive Research Residency at Critical Path in Sydney, April and May 2020: criticalpath.org.au/program/responsive-residency-2/
