Director Statement

In the midst of global challenges and shifting landscapes, I found myself drawn to the narratives that often remain untold – the stories of refugees seeking refuge, rebuilding, and reimagining their lives. Through my lens, I aim to shed light on the unyielding resilience and human spirit that emerge from adversity.

The film portrays the journey of a Syrian couple who fled the ravages of war, seeking sanctuary and hope in the embrace of Jordan. Their experiences, woven into the fabric of their new reality, become a microcosm of the larger human experience that transcends borders. Their struggles, triumphs, and everyday moments reveal the intricate interplay between resilience and vulnerability, strength and fragility.
