Shela’s Escape


Tomislav Vujcic is a visionary filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor from Düsseldorf, Germany, with Croatian roots. Born in 1983, he discovered his love for storytelling and performance at an early age. Initially drawn to the spotlight as an actor, he soon felt the urge to shape stories behind the camera. That passion led him to pursue a degree in Film Directing at Ruhrakademie Schwerte, where he graduated with highest honors in 2017. His diploma film "CHAMP", a powerful portrait of resilience and identity, earned multiple international awards and received the school’s prestigious “knighting” for best final project.
Before entering the film industry, Tomislav completed a degree in Health Communication at the University of Bielefeld – a background that deeply informs his nuanced, socially conscious storytelling.
Driven by a desire to tell bold, emotionally honest stories, Tomislav founded his own production company Go For It Baby Productions in 2015. Through this platform, he has directed, written, and produced a diverse range of projects, from intimate dramas to stylized experimental films and social commentaries.
