Touring annually the She Surfs Film Tour screens over 2 hours of the most inspirational, heart-warming and entertaining films celebrating surfing women from independent filmmakers around the globe.

The She Surfs Film Tour includes a unique selection of films of varying lengths and styles covering topics relevant to women in surfing.

Adventure Reels, the largest film touring company in Australia, is welcoming entries to the brand-new She Surfs Film Tour, a celebration of women who surf. Our aim at the She Surfs Film Tour is to connect like-minded women and build a community of supportive wave riding women. By showcasing and celebrating the female surfers we hope to make women in surfing more visible. But a She Surfs screening isn’t just for women – it is for everyone who loves surfing: young, old, men, women, boys and girls.

We’re after outstanding films/documentaries that feature captivating characters and engaging stories, that showcase the women of the waves. We want to feature films that move, surprise and entertain our audience.

In the Australia, Adventure Reels is the company behind the Banff Mountain Film Festival Tour, the Ocean Film Festival Tour, Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour and the Top Dog Film Festival Tour, attracting audiences of over 100,000 people annually. The She Surfs Film Tour will be touring in venues and online from October 2021.
