The city covered with changes... They are spreading all over small streets and wide squares, shining in street lanterns and tiny attic gas lamps, staring into windows. Suddenly they catch someone's eyes, her eyes ... There she is: in a small room, in the middle of the night, living her life at the beginning of the century.
Who is she? Is she a laundress, a seamstress, a suffragette or a harlot? She is all in one and none of them at the same time. She is rebellious and vulnerable, desired, and neglected, sensual, and indifferent, strong, and feminine. She is volatile as fashion, fleeting as time. Sitting in her room, surrounded by lace and her thoughts, she is sewing the trend, stitching creativity, modeling changes.

Director Biography - Tetyana Aleks, Yuri Krupyak

Tetyana Aleks comes from Ukraine, lives and works in Austria. In Linz she completed her studies in art history and philosophy. In addition to her university career, she completed training as a hairdresser, wigmaker and make-up artist. She currently works for Bachmayr La Biosthetique, where she is responsible for apprentice training. She also works as an entrepreneur with advertising agencies and other organisations in film and photo productions.
In 2014 she was awarded La Biosthetique Hairbeauty Stylist of the Year and represented Austria on the international stage in Paris. In 2015 she was nominated in three categories for the Austria Hairdressing Awards. In 2019 she won the Austria Haidressing Awards in the avant-garde category against the entire competition from Austria.
