Shayne's experience as a writer/director/producer spans 15+ years in features, television, documentaries and corporate videos. Shayne also currently shoots and edits his projects.
Shayne most recently directed, wrote and produced "Me Three", a teen body-sharing comedy about a 17 yr-old girl who reconnects with her slain parents and finds her inner strength while confronting their killer.
Previously Shayne directed, wrote and produced "Get Bossy", a female empowerment private eye comedy in the vein of "The Big Lebowski" which was distributed by Cineverse and is currently available on Amazon Prime and Tubi.
Other notable credits include: "What No One Tells The Bride", a television pilot about a strong, liberal woman’s first year of marriage to a conservative Naval officer; "True Bromance", a crime-comedy short; and "Bullet Bound", which was chosen as a second-round selection for Bravo’s Project Greenlight.
Documentary directing, writing and producing credits include: "Minding Swarthmore", the first documentary ever about the history and character of Swarthmore College; "Salt And Light", a documentary about the sixth World Conference of Friends near Nakuru, Kenya; and "Iroquois Rising", about the Iroquois Nationals lacrosse team in the 2006 World Lacrosse Championships, which premiered at the Museum Of Tolerance International Film Festival.
Shayne learned his craft shadowing the best directors in network television from 2008-2011 at CBS’s "The Unit", Fox’s "Lie To Me" and Disney Channel’s "Good Luck, Charlie".
Shayne has been hired to direct several shorts, corporate videos and commercials.
Shayne earned a BA in economics from Swarthmore College.
