Shayla Han Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Australian artist and animator based in Sydney. Experienced with 2D illustration and animation, she has previously worked on the animated film ‘Floorboards’, in collaboration with Red Room Poetry. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree of Design in Animation at the University of Technology, Sydney, as she builds upon her skill set.

Shayla's passion for art has always been born from cartoons and Nintendo games, as they’ve kickstarted the development of her favourite aesthetics and interest in the industry. Through her art, she is inclusive of many diverse stories, as she continues to use her skills to strengthen the voices of POC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
