Shared Space
John and Nic are unlikely workmates. John has lived and painted in the same loft off the South Street Seaport in New York City since 1979 and now shares the space with Nic, a young artist with an unusual way of drawing with chalk.
This short documentary follows the changing neighborhood of the loft, Nic's mesmerizing way of working with chalk and an emotional art piece by John to memorialize his wife who passed away from cancer. John and Nic's differing personalities and art styles come together to form a unique friendship.
