Shanita Brown was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is the only girl out of six children. Ever since she was a little girl, she wanted to be a successful lawyer when she grew up. So she finished college with a Master's degree in Law. Around the same time that she was attending college she started working on film and video sets. She worked as an assistant, background actress, camera assistant, script supervisor, gaffer and more. In 2019 she started writing movie scripts and kept them in a folder on her computer. In 2022 she made up her mind to start directing her own films. Being on set for so long gave her the hands on knowledge she needed to direct films and more. She has had two scripts officially selected by OIF. She plans to expand her talents to festivals and television in the near future.
