In 2019, Shane received a Discovery Award nomination for producing, writing, directing, and editing his debut feature film "Dub Daze." Following this success, his debut LGBTIQA+ short film "True" premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival in 2020, winning Best Short at the Marbella International Film Festival and receiving a nomination for the Emerging Directors Award. He was invited to pitch his LGBTIQA+ feature script "True" at JETS during Berlinale. He has attended numerous Sundance Collab writing courses receiving Scholarships for two. His documentary "Nearly Never Made Me" premiered at the Marbella International Film Festival in 2022, earning a nomination for Best Documentary. Short-listed for the Edinburgh Network, his portfolio of produced short films has screened at international festivals over the last five years. A graduate of the NFTS directing course, Shane has recently completed his short film "Percheron," a French, Irish Co-production. He is currently developing his second feature film "Frames" with Emmanuel Oberg Screenplay Unwritten workshop sponsored by Screen Ireland.
