Shame

Amit Palgi is a dance-film maker, choreographer, and dancer, from Israel that currently based in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Amit works interdisciplinary and continuously tries to extend the dance fields and find different ways to share dance. In 2021 Amit created an Interactive dance film (‘Inner-View’) that was chosen to be part of three different festivals over the world. In the same year, Amit also created a VR dance film (‘Shame’) that was chosen to be shared in the ‘Vrij-Paleis’ Gallery in Amsterdam with another dance film installation (‘Holiday’). He produced the whole films independently, from the concept and script parts to the dancing and editing parts.
Since 2019 Amit is studying at ArtEZ Bachelor of Dance/Maker.
Pieces created by Amit have been selected to represent the school at some official events. Amit was chosen by the galleries ‘Circa...Dit’ in Arnhem, and ‘Vrij-Paleis’ in Amsterdam to create for them performative dance exhibitions.
