Shahin Haghshoar was born on December 30, 1990 in Tehran. Since the very beginning he was obsessed with art and especially cinema, but he never studied art academically in his junior years. After he received his BA in industrial engineering from Bu-Ali Sina National University, he learned interior designing by autodidact and chose as his first job. Later on, he began his cinema life as a director assistant in 2012. For years of struggling and pushing forward to find and explore related talents, he both tried acting and directing school from 2014 to 2016. He decided to choose filmmaking as his lifetime career. Shahin started to learn as many skills as he could like photography, cinematography, screenplay writing, editing, etc. and made more than 5 student films, as well as working as assistant, cinematographer, writer, costume and set designer in many projects for couple of years. After making HOOK as a student shortfilm in 2017, He gathering all the knowledge he’s earned during the years, he made Drop his debut.
