Sete - Silent Short FIlm

In society's darkest moment, a priest keeps the family of a teenage girl together, whose father and mother are facing a difficult moment, the daughter, frustrated by the constant quarrels between her parents, moves away from the family. Her parents ignore her estrangement from the family, but the priest is worried about the community instead he tries to keep the family together, but the negative thoughts of the adults create a fog around the daughter who walks away in the dark, the priest tries to stop her before it may be too late, but a new threat is emerging from the fog.

Director Biography - Mandeep Singh

I grew up in Italy from the age of eight, I have always nurtured a crazy passion for cinema and the art of producing it, at the age of twenty I started studying directing and cinematography, through video courses, realizing my first project in 2016. I continued to follow the path of directing and Film-Making, managing to realize projects such as short films, music videos, commercials, and Talk Show (tv-pilot)

Director Statement

my goal is to convey the importance of unity in underlining the root of a social problem present in the psyche of our society, in order to be able to find a solution to counter this discomfort even in real life. I want to make films just for this precise purpose, to convey solutions, through the message. SETE is a story of many youngsters who end up in drug circles because they are mainly ignored and isolated by those who have stopped taking responsibility, for a self-centered matter. A problem that we all fall victim to.
