Director Biography - Esra Demirhan

Esra Demirhan was born in Izmir in Turkey on 21st of December 1987. She studied Mechatronics Engineering at Atilim University, Ankara. After she graduated, she started Müjdat Gezen Film Academy in Istanbul. While she was studying there, she started to work as Production Assistant on TV Series "Leyla and Mecnun" in Turkey. After one year, she decided to make her Master's Degree on Engineering in Germany. She studied Analytical Instruments, Measurement and Sensor Technology at Hochschule Coburg and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and she graduated with a silver medal as she was second best student.
After she graduated, she started to work at Ford-Werke GmbH as Development Engineer. She still works there and lives in Cologne, Germany.
Her passion is making movies and empowering women. That is why she started her youtube channel in 2020 to support women and expats.
