Director Biography - Wendy Pennington

My Mom says I've been directing since the age of three. However, I didn't quit take the lead until just a few years ago. When we couldn't get a director to direct a funny TV pilot we wrote, I jumped up and said, "I will." But, "Service Animal," is my first serious venture into directing film. I wanted to make something that's funny, weird, a little off beat... okay a lot off beat. Because, we all need a good laugh these days. (And a Service Animal!)

Thank you for watching our funny short, "Service Animal." My cohorts and I have been writing comedy sketches and performing them live on stage, but this special script deserves the big screen. We aim to entertain and make audiences laugh during these trying times. We could ALL use a Service Animal.
