Serenity

Margarita Chachkhalia lived all her childhood in Zugdidi, Georgia. In the 2010s, her family moved to Russia, but Margarita continued to live for several months a year in Georgia and continued to consider it her home. However, there was no film education in Georgia, and therefore in 2020 she entered the VGIK film School in Moscow at the Faculty of documentary directing. During her studies, Margarita made 4 short documentaries, including “Boys, my Boys”, which was awarded at the international film festival “Message to Man” as a film directed by a promising director, and shown at the 41st International Student Festival of the VGIK. Finally, in 2024, Margarita managed to make a film entirely shot in Georgia and in the Georgian language - "Serenity".
