A surreal drama short following Dushan Ritter (29), a man struggling with his mental health during the economic crisis, who undergoes supernatural physical changes as a result of his visits to the local chicken shop.

Aiden Harmitt-Williams is a self-taught visual artist, photographer, musician, poet & writer. His directing and film making intertwines these disciplines to fresh aesthetic effect with much of his work concerned with themes of displacement.
He has directed music videos for some of the UK's most exciting artists including Flohio, Sipprell & Lex Amor and shorts including 'Worn' and 'Genealogy'.
Aiden's multi-disciplinary background allows him to take on a diverse range of creative roles in addition to directing. He has written for numerous projects including commercials for Louis Vuitton and the short film 'Ile Wa' directed by WeAreSoul. As a photographer he has worked with some of the world's best known brands including Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, D&AD, Netflix, i-D, TikTok & WeTransfer.
It's Aiden's ambition to direct two self written shorts in 2023 in order to open up pathways to writing and directing features.
This film, based on my poem of the same name, is an interpretation of the prophet Elijah’s ascension from his fear of Jezebel, living off of the feed of birds through to being taken up by God into heaven.
Inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s 100 Years of Solitude , I will utilise the fantastical elements to enhance Seraphim’s themes.
Through a careful and nuanced lens I look to deliver a piece that is sensitive to the black male experience of mental health and relevant to those looking for purposeful works.
