Patrick, a young man stuck in the social media routine and disconnected from the world around him, lives without purpose, ignoring what really matters. His life changes drastically when he has a mysterious vision of Ingá, an indigenous woman carrying a deep meaning that he cannot understand. Moved by this experience, Patrick embarks on a journey of self-discovery that leads him to see indigenous culture and traditions in a new light.

As he fights to support Ingá's dream — building a hut to preserve and share the wisdom of his people — Patrick faces barriers of prejudice and political interests. But it is through these difficulties that he discovers the strength of union and the importance of a collective dream.

“Seeds” is a story of transformation, where respect for culture and resilience in the face of challenges become seeds of hope for a more inclusive future connected to the roots of our past.

Patrick Moreira (born on March 30, 1999, in Itapecerica da Serra, São Paulo) is a Brazilian filmmaker and actor, renowned for his versatility and dedication to the audiovisual arts. At 25 years old, Patrick boasts a solid educational background, holding a bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (2020) and a theater diploma from the prestigious Macunaíma School, where he earned his official actor certification (DRT) in 2021.

As an actor, Patrick has gained experience in short films, commercial advertisements, and supporting roles in various streaming platform miniseries, standing out for his adaptability and remarkable performances across different narrative genres.

In the audiovisual field, Patrick works as a filmmaker, overseeing projects across all stages of production: pre-production, production, and post-production. He excels in roles such as screenwriting, directing, actor coaching, cinematography, camera operation, and image and sound editing. His expertise in narrative structure sets him apart, enabling him to craft impactful and well-structured stories.

Patrick has contributed to projects in over five Brazilian states, collaborating with brands and cultural initiatives. His commitment to audiovisual education is evident in the workshops and training sessions he conducts, empowering new talents and promoting the ethical and creative use of emerging technologies within the industry.

His latest work, the feature film “Sementes” (“Seeds”), solidifies his vision as a filmmaker. Director Statement

I am extremely happy and proud to present Sementes (Seeds), the largest and most challenging project of my career so far. This film was an intense journey where I took on multiple roles: director, screenwriter, producer, lead actor, cinematographer, editor, and many others. Each of these roles allowed me to explore my versatility and dedication to the art of filmmaking.

The process was demanding but immensely rewarding. It involved two months of rigorous pre-production, four days of filming, and five weeks of meticulous editing, during which every detail was crafted to deliver the best possible experience. This was also the first project where I fully embraced directing actors after my formal training and specialization in this area, making the journey even more meaningful.

The film did not rely on a scripted dialogue but rather a story-driven structure. The result was remarkable, with authentic dialogues and performances that brought the project to life in a unique and moving way.

I am deeply grateful for all the learning and the final result, which reflects the effort and passion of everyone involved. Sementes is not just a film; it is a celebration of teamwork, overcoming challenges, and the power of believing in dreams.
