My films are primarily focused on the natural landscape. Currently, I write, direct, produce, shoot and edit essay and experimental films that incorporate analog and digital imagery. I am a film M.F.A. candidate at the University of Central Florida. I also teach film production and film studies at UCF.
A short experimental film examining impermanence within the natural Florida landscape. Images foregrounding human interaction within the Florida wilderness are juxtaposed with abstract sections of rapid movement. The sequencing of these shots together foregrounds fleeting traces of perspective within the natural landscape. Ambient audio is distorted and abstracted that pair with the sections of rapid movement to create a contrast through sound design. 16mm, Super 8.
