Səkú
In the Ghɔmálá' language, the word "Səkú" is a borrowing from the English "School". In this documentary collage, students from Africa and its diasporas recount their experiences as "international students" in a strange land - France.

Film curator and multidisciplinary artist, whose work focuses on cultures and traditions.
As a collective, we made what can be called a collage documentary. This collage was made by a group of friends and members of AMECAS (Amicale des Etudiants Caribéens Africains et Sympathisants), an association of African and Caribbean students at the Sorbonne University. We did this project because we wanted to have fun. And we indeed had fun making what we hope will be seen as a short documentation of the life of black students in Paris.
