Andy Kumpon is the Co-Founder of KillerBeam Entertainment. Kumpon has always been interested in sci-fi/horror/fantasy. He is a big fan of the old Godzilla movies, creature feature and of course "Star Wars." Kumpon also points to the unique directing style of John Carpenter as a major influence in his own work.
Kumpon moved to New York City in 2006 and worked in video production by partnering with and creating Malbec Gold Productions. One of the Co-founders of Terra FOSSIL Wines, Andy created Terra FOSSIL TV, which highlights Terra FOSSIL testimonials taken in-and-around New York City which netted millions of views. He also co-founded the worthy cause organization Stomp Out Student Loans to work with universities, retailers, and brands in an effort to give back - initiating the campaign along with Sonoma State University, Oliver’s Markets, and California Student Aid Commission.
An award-winning filmmaker with 20 years experience in all facets of film/video production (writing, directing, editing, composing, marketing), he has worked on several independent series/films/productions in Seattle, L.A., and N.Y. He has produced and directed videos for several successful "viral video" campaigns. His short film "Last Stop Station," was featured at Tromodance 2002 in Park City, Utah, and won best horror film at The Award Winners of Hollywood Scarefest (2005) in Los Angeles. It was picked up for distribution and released on DVD by Vanguard Cinema. Kumpon is also the producer/actor/cameraman/music composer for "Shadows in the Garden”, another short horror piece that tells a story from the monster's perspective. He also directed a segment in the anthology film "Monstersdotcom" (2003) produced by Brimstone Media Productions. His short supernatural thriller KNIT (2016), a proof of concept for a feature film of the same name has won numerous festival awards.
Kumpon has several feature-length screenplays he is looking to develop, namely his upcoming Sci-Fi, zombie epic “Seeds Of The Dead” featuring a take on GMO, and his Action/Sci-Fi screenplay “The Pit”, which he plans on adapting into a Graphic Novel sometime in 2018.
