This is the 9th year running on Anglesey and we are welcoming films from anywhere in the world. We would obviously like to understand your film, so please subtitle them if they are not in English.
We screen the competition films via live link up so you can watch from home the unfolding of the days events.
All that we require is that you mention the "Sea" via dialogue or visually, with a timecode reference to where you feature "the Sea" or we cannot accept your entry.

We will NOT watch your film if you do not mark the TIMECODE where you mention the "SEA" in your SYNOPSIS. Please.

Judges yet to be confirmed (normally industry folks) will choose the finalists of each category at the public screening in the cinema on Saturday 21st October, then have another screening of the winners, on the following day Sunday 22nd 2023. We do hope you can join us.

We were very honoured to have been selected and have won a prize at this wonderful festival.
We were very sad we couldn't make it in person, but the team was always very communicative and helpful. We hope to make it there next year, as it is such a beautiful place!

I'm humbled that my film Whalefall was a finalist for the SeeMor Films Festival. It was an in-person event and I was unable to attend, but it looked like a great day with a fantastic line up. Communication with the fest was great beforehand.

  • I love the notion of a 'Sea' specific festival. Since I already have a great love for the sea it often appears in my work. I was beyond thrilled that 'The Fall Chorus' was selected as their winner of best music video. Great communication from the team. A high quality festival run with a love of the subject and film and I have nothing but huge appreciation and admiration for the whole team there. A quality festival.
