Secret Glances
Just one glance. One aching glance. That’s all you need to tell a story. Through these frames, I have tried to capture the stories of people whose paths cross my life every day. Sometimes in the most mundane and sometimes in the most extraordinary circumstances. Partial glimpses of their faces exude the mystery of their characters, leaving much to the imagination of the onlookers. Her innocent face and piercing eyes tell me about her pain and desires in life. She wants to play, dance and live her childhood. This picture is also an expression of gratitude. For the people caught in the frame have allowed me to capture a slice of their lives – a broken fragment of their personalities that is perhaps lost in the wholeness of their bodies or the smooth contours of their entire faces.

Gurgaon, (India) based street/ travel photographer.
Capturing emotions is one of the key ingredients in my work. I firmly believes in making photographs that resonate with me. Even though it is the emotions of my subjects I am documenting, I find a reflection of myself in them. My love for the unexpected and candid moments give me the ability to find visual order within the chaos of the world and an unparalleled creative vision. I love to creatively capture the weird and wonderful fleeting moments as they unfold in front of my eyes. Photography is the love of my life and traveling is like blood in my veins. I love waking up to new horizons, making new friends and exploring the world.
My work has been featured in Huffpost UK and published in many photography magazines like Better photography, Chiiz Magazine, Gladrags, etc. My work has been exhibited in India and abroad. I won the first position in the contest run by London School of photography and also won the Nikon women photography title besides other awards.
These images are all about the expression of people i see and meet. At times these are people who are known to me and sometimes they are complete strangers. I get mesmerised by the fact how i see people differently every time i see them. They express all kinds of emotions like sadness, despair, agony, happiness, thrill etc.
I have tried to capture a broken fragment that is perhaps lost in the wholeness of their bodies or the contours of their entire faces.
This is an attempt to display feelings in the form of expressions or body language possibly reflecting me as person.
I have a great sense of gratitude towards each one of them.
