Secret Bonds

Detective Jacob Smash, who has a mutation allowing him to see the mental effects of broken bonds through scars, and his assistant Sean Gabby, receive a new case: the death of Jessica Last. At the crime scene, Sean reads the details, revealing she was poisoned. Jacob sees Jessica's memories through her scars and shares his findings with Sean, who adds that other detectives thought it was a suicide. However, after witnessing intense memories, Jacob concludes it was an accident. The case is closed, and they report back to their boss.
