SAFF strives to present a variety of excellent contemporary films that provide insight into the art, complexity and diversity of SWANA and the Arab world. We seek to cultivate an ecosystem that amplifies Arab film and media projects while empowering Arab talent and highlighting emerging voices. We invite filmmakers from around the world to submit their films. Our judges appreciate auteur cinema-films informed by a unique artistic vision.
-We seek films made by Arab and SWANA filmmakers and films relevant to Arab and SWANA communities.
-All films must include English subtitles. Exceptions will be made for films with very little or no spoken dialogue.
-We exhibit films in the following formats: DCP with a frame rate of 24 fps or high resolution Blu-Ray. Depending on the quality, we will also consider films available on DVD. We also accept online files in quality storage clouds.
-Each film requires a new submission form.
