Nicholl Fellowship Finalist, Montage Entertainment’s Diversity in Screenwriting Award sponsored by HBO, North Carolina Playwriting Fellowship, William Faulkner-William Wisdom Top Five Finalist – Novel, and New River Dramatists playwriting residency and Kaufman Award for Excellence in Playwriting for "Zinzi the Musical." “Branford Marsalis – Steep,” a documentary on the jazz artist, which I wrote and produced, has been distributed worldwide.

Director Statement

A female-led hybrid documentary made made by a forty-two member cast and crew. Of them, twenty-three were women and nineteen were men. Thirty-eight were Xhosa. I was the sole American. It was a true collaboration.
