Nissmah is a 2D animator and media designer. Since completing her bachelor degree in 2014, she started her career as a teaching assistant in the graphic design and film departments at the American University in Cairo. Alongside, she has worked as a Motion Designer and a Video Editor in several advertising com- panies. Nissmah has also directed and produced her own short animated films and took part in multiple international film festivals, where her poetry film The Dice Player gained several awards.
What drives my work the most is my belief in animation as a tool that can transcend ethnic labels, connect with any audience and create cultural understanding.
