Hello there!

I’m Seán Leahy, an award-nominated Irish director and screenwriter with films screened at festivals including the Fastnet Film Festival, IndieCork, and Big Shots.

I’m a member of the Irish Film and Television Academy’s Directing Chapter, a member of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland, an associated member of the Writers Guild of Ireland, and currently serve as Events Manager for The People’s Picturehouse Cork.

My work focuses on narrative storytelling, writing and directing films that are character-driven, visually grounded, and emotionally resonant. I’m currently developing new projects while continuing to support grassroots cinema in Cork.
