Sea Synergy - Wild Irish Oysters
The green waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean shape life along the wild Irish coastline. But although these waters may appear cold and dark, beneath the surface, a world of life and colour awaits!
Sea Synergy is a women-led community conservation group, working tirelessly to share the hidden gems of the Irish coastline with the wider public. After discovering some of the largest living oysters in the world, the group is pioneering a new marine conservation project, to reverse the decline of this Critically Endangered native species. Through snorkel safaris, citizen science and working with international researchers, this community voice film aims to share their exciting, dynamic work, building new stories of a brighter future for our natural world.
