Writer Biography - Madeline Burgin

Madeline Burgin is an award-winning filmmaker. As a screenwriter, she indulges in the weird and magical.

Currently, she is finishing a communication degree at Augusta University. As an honor student, she completed her thesis, Syche & Halo Cab Co.: a creative activity in podcasting. She wrote, cast, directed and edited a fictional podcast of the same name, which the pilot can be found at Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Along with her degree, she will receive a certificate in Filmmaking.

In the Fall, she will be attending the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to earn her Master's of Fine Arts in Screenwriting. She plans to work on her craft and develop her voice as a writer.

Her passion is storytelling through empathy and curiosity.
