Scriptamorph is a unique Screenplay contest where the top three winners receive a professionally-recorded, well-rehearsed professional table-read of their scripts! These recordings make a great calling card, marketing aid, or even a final product.

The recording takes place in our modern professional recording studio, with professional voice actors, all under the guidance of a director and producer. The recordings will receive sound design treatments as well!

When we say table read we really mean a super high-quality professionally recorded audio version of the screenplay read by working voice actors, under the direction of an experienced director and producer! Think audio-book version of your script!

A Producer and Director are assigned to the winning scripts, and collaboration with the writer is encouraged. We invite winning screenwriters to travel to our studio in Utah and be part of the process!

The first phase is to rewrite parts of the script to convert elements that are largely visual into elements that can be expressed audibly. Once this phase is complete we cast the voice talent and the director preps for the rehearsal.

Next we hold a rehearsal where the director works with each of the actors to hone their characters and performance.

The session is then recorded in our professional recording studio, where it is then edited and mixed. The grand prize winner will receive a comprehensive sound design treatment. The top 2 finalists will receive a light sound design treatment.

Through each phase of this process the screenwriter is invited to take part in the journey and offer feedback.

In addition to the top three winners, all runners-up will receive discounts to screenwriting products and services from our sponsors.

Don't miss this unique opportunity!

Scripts must be copyrighted original works by the submitter. You must have FULL rights to the content of each script you submit. Winning writers will be invited to participate in the full production cycle of the table read, but they will be expected to provide their own transportation to our studio in Salt Lake City, UT as well as lodging and expenses. The writer acknowledges that even though they are invited to take part in the production process, the producer and director assigned to the project have final say on all creative decisions, though the screenwriter's input will always be considered and discussed. Creative Guild Learning makes no claim of suitability that the delivered final recording will be for any use other than entertainment purposes. After the production process completes (the recording session) the project will enter the post-production phase, which can last several weeks. The writer will be invited to return home during this phase where they can review and provide feedback to the review copies before the recording is finalized. The ultimate schedule will be determined solely by Creative Guild Learning, the host of this competition.
