Roberto Alvarenga is a forever 80s kid with a flare for horror. Spielberg, Dante, Craven, Carpenter were his mentors - they just never knew it. He studied at New York Film Academy and has filmed and written a solid collection of work. His short MICHELLE'S GRIFFIN is a 2019 Killer Shorts Horror Short Screenplay Competition Quarterfinalist and a 2020 WeScreenplay Short Competition Semi-Finalist. Once bro-hugged Mathew Modine.
The trends that you will find in my horror stories usually include two types of elements: the supernatural and the folly of man's assertion that he/she has control of situations that will not be controlled. Combined I use them to illustrate the scariest thought to me what is supernatural just might be the natural and our actions against it is what creates the true horrors we face.
