A Full day of Live action and animated films ready to showcase the most talented filmmakers and creative makers around the world!

Every Submission that fits the rules & terms will be added to the Live Marathon and Festival screening. There is a maximum of 100 films per round- 3 rounds each year, so the chances of getting your film screened are very high!

We are a group of filmmakers that love film as much as you do and we know how important it is to get a festival screening! We are looking to showcase and help your film get noticed!

Every film gets in as long as it follows our rules and terms. We showcase up to 100 films per round and we watch every single submission.

A few lucky filmmakers will take part in SCRANTON FILMS TALKS:
We will select the most creative films, animations, or music videos and invite the filmmakers for our marathon Q & A that we record prior to the main screening. The Q&A will be included after the marathon and will be screened and featured on our website and social media channels.

ADD YOUR FILM TO OUR CREATIVE HUB: Every submission will also be added and featured on our streaming platform www.ourcreativehub.com for everyone to watch for free ( YouTube and Vimeo links accepted) Films link to your own platform and you get all the revenue and clicks! We only showcase films.

BEST IN SHOW: A lucky filmmaker in each category will receive a Best In Show certificate and be featured on our website along with their film.

No nudity! No explicit sexual content.

We invite all independent filmmakers to submit their films. We hold each screening quarterly (Every three months) on our Scranton Films YouTube and Facebook page
and showcase up to 100 films per round, sometimes even showing twice depending on how many films are submitted.

There is no limit on how many films to send but each filmmaker must pay a small fee per film entry.

The small fee helps run the movie marathon, pay for sponsored ads, social media promotion, and streaming platform. Our mission is to showcase as many independent filmmakers and help their films reach a diverse audience.
