Schooltime
Do broken people break more people?
Schooltime is a short film that weighs this question closely. It looks at the trail of damage a disturbed teenager leaves behind in an act of fatal violence fueled by a life of hate and neglect.
Cole is a young single father who comes undone by the personal loss he suffers in this tragedy. In him, we see the slow creep of despair and the deep grief of a parent who couldn't help their child.
An unflinching look at the cycle of violence, Schooltime is not only a moving contemplation on the origin of brokenness but also a wavfinder that shows what it might take to heal this broken world.
Subtle, moving, and striking, this deeply artistic portrait of grief will find chords of hope and love to strike in us all.
