CHRIS SARFIN is a visual person with an eye for unique storytelling, inviting aesthetics, and attention to detail. His style utilizes traditional techniques of composition. He also firmly believes in themes of hope in his work.
Chris was born on Long Island, New York. From a young age, Chris showed a love for storytelling, using a purple toy projector to present his illustrated animals against the living room wall.
Chris attended Hofstra University studying Film Studies & Production where he directed and produced short films. A few days after graduating, Chris landed a gig working at Paramount Pictures, making him grab the biggest suitcase he could find and move cross country. During those few years, Chris got a crash course into all things entertainment, getting the opportunity to meet and work with prominent talent within the industry.
Thereafter, Chris worked for the critically acclaimed production company Zadan/Meron Productions under producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, helping develop numerous feature films, tv shows, live shows, Broadway shows, and other formats, further expanding his experience.
Chris loves all formats of storytelling, including short-form content. He often storyboards his projects and carefully plans out the execution of his productions. He firmly believes that the process of telling stories is equally important as the stories themselves.
Collectively, Chris has helped work on over 50 films and tv shows, and is currently working on many of his own projects. He hopes to tell stories that not only captivate audiences but bring happiness to them as well. He firmly believes in storytelling that has heart and positivity.
This is designed to be a feel-good film that I hope people enjoy!
