Time for Queer people to showcase why Halloween is our night!
The first ever "Scared Queer: Online Horror Film Fest" is a chance for LGBTQ2S+ filmmakers to create original content.

Be it horror, thriller, or dark comedy, we're looking for Queer storytellers to create a 5 minute or less short film that showcases lead characters from the LGBTQ2S+ community.

Each film selected will be released on the "Scared Queer" YouTube channel for the chance for people around the world to watch from October 24th on (just in time for some Halloween marathons).

This Film Fest is fun AND free! That's right no entry fee required.

Shoot with what you've got. Whether it be your smart phone, webcam, GoPro or Super 8. Remember to follow all safety precautions put in place in your area to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep people safe.

"Scared Queer" is a chance for marginalized communities to see themselves on screen and we encourage and welcome BIPOC in the LGBTQ2S+ community to submit their films.

Not only will a select panel select the following awards, the most liked film by the audience on the YouTube page will be awarded the "Audience Favorite".
